Hello and welcome! I am so glad you have found your way to my page. My name is Jen Francke, and I am committed to providing compassionate, professional care to individuals navigating mental health challenges, trauma, and substance abuse. I understand that seeking therapy is a courageous decision, and I am here to support you every step of the way, whether you are dealing with adjusting to life change, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, stress, trauma, substance abuse, or anything in between.

I am dually licensed as both a mental health therapist and a substance abuse counselor. This unique combination of qualifications allows me to address the full spectrum of emotional, psychological, and behavioral health concerns, particularly for those dealing with the complex intersection of mental health and substance use. If you or someone you care about is struggling with addiction, I can provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to help you work toward healing and recovery. Together, we will explore the root causes of your challenges and build a path toward lasting change and healthier coping mechanisms.

In my practice, I offer a comprehensive approach to therapy, integrating a variety of techniques and methodologies tailored to your specific needs. One of the most effective tools I use is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Fully trained in EMDR, I have seen how this powerful therapeutic technique helps individuals process past traumas and heal emotional wounds. If you have experienced trauma, whether it is from a single event or complex, EMDR can help you reframe those memories, reduce their emotional charge, and reclaim your life.

In addition to being trained in EMDR, I am also certified as a Clinical Trauma Professional. This certification deepens my understanding of the impact trauma has on mental and emotional well-being and allows me to use specialized techniques to help you process and heal. Whether it is childhood trauma, PTSD, or the effects of chronic stress, my trauma-informed approach ensures that our work together will be both gentle and effective.

I take a client-centered approach in therapy, meeting you where you are in your journey and creating a personalized plan for your healing. I also believe in the power of mind-body connection, which is why I have completed Yoga Teacher Training. Whether you are dealing with stress, anxiety, or trauma, incorporating breathwork, movement, and mindfulness into our work can provide you with powerful tools to calm your nervous system, ground yourself, and reconnect with your body in a positive way.

I am committed to providing therapy that is inclusive, affirming, and supportive of LGBTQ+ individuals. I understand the unique challenges that members of the LGBTQ+ community face, and I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to explore your identity, work through any struggles, and develop strategies for living authentically. I am here to support you in a way that honors your journey, your values, and your personal growth.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I would be honored to join you in your healing journey. Whether you are dealing with trauma, addiction, mental health struggles, or simply want to explore a new path forward, I am here to help. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule an appointment. Let’s begin this journey together.

All of my education and training is used to assist my clients in achieving a greater sense of balance, mental health and well-being.
